Brad Pitt
Some celebrities are creating their own lines of PhilGoods™ to give back and others just love talking about or promoting items they love, either way they’re raising awareness of important causes and helping raise money to make a difference. It only seems fitting that we would help get the word out!
BRAD PITT, an actor and producer has been cited as one of the world’s most attractive men, a label that has enticed the media to make him one of the world’s favorite celebrities. Pitt has received two Academy Award nominations and four Golden Globe Award nominations, winning one.
Pitt began his acting career with television guest appearances which included a role on the CBS soap opera “Dallas” in 1987; later gaining recognition as the cowboy hitchhiker who seduces Geena Davis’s character in the 1991 road movie “Thelma & Louise.” Today, Pitt is commanding top dollar for his leading man status recently starring in “Inglourious Bastards” and “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.”

Since beginning his relationship with Jolie, Pitt has become increasingly involved in social issues both in the United States and internationally. He is well known for founding the charity Make it Right helping to rebuild New Orleans’ devastated Lower 9th Ward and extensive international work. In 2008 Pitt joined with Kiehl’s to start JPF Eco Systems a nonprofit organization established to “minimize impact on the environment through thoughtful design.” One hundred percent of the proceeds from Kiehl’s Aloe Vera Biodegradable Liquid Body Cleanser, washing up in stores in October for $16.95 a bottle, will go to JPF Eco Systems
Putting their money behind their advocacy, Pitt and Jolie recently donated $1,000,000 to help those in Haiti devastated by the 7.0 magnitude earthquake.
