COURTENEY COX, is best known for her role as Monica Geller on the sitcom, “Friends.” Fans of Cox are now flocking to ABC’s “Cougar Town” in which she stars as a 40-year-old mom on the hunt for new experiences. Cox shares the executive producer role with her husband David Arquette for “Cougar Town” and with a Golden Globe nomination in the bag, the producing duo are eyeing their next projects.

During her time on “Friends,” Cox appeared in the high-profile Scream trilogy as the determined and driven reporter Gale Weathers. Both Cox and Arquette will be reprising their roles in 2010’s “Scream 4.”

Cox helped launch OmniPeace , a nonprofit organization dedicated to eradicating poverty, and with her husband is often considered to by one of Hollywood’s philanthropic power couple.
